Hello, I'm Rehan and I'm currently a final year medical student at the Shifa College of Medicine, Islamabad, Pakistan. Originally from California, I have been living in Islamabad the last few years while I work towards completing my MBBS degree.

Throughout the course of the last three years I've developed a profound interest in the Anesthesia & Perioperative Care specialty. After graduation I look forward to beginning an anesthesia residency. To this end I have been active in a part-time research role (which I find very rewarding) relating to the long-term effects of inhaled anesthestics on neurocognitive function at the University of California, San Francisco.
